Follows the misadventures of four irreverent grade-schoolers in the quiet, dysfunctional town of South Park, Colorado. South Park is possibly the most successful animated series of all times. Since 1997 – the main characters Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny have been presenting political topics and taboo topics with a comedic ease that leaves audiences laughing, even when they know they shouldn’t. In year 2000, the boys made the switch from third to fourth grade, where they have remained ever since. During the first 5 seasons, the show was infamous for killing Kenny near the end of every episode, then bringing him back the next week with no explanation of his death or return. The show always reflects pop culture phenomenons, or current fads in society.
South Park is still going strong, and will be for at least a couple of more years.
The Four Main Boys in South Park:

Eric Cartman
One of my favorite characters in South Park. Who is an obese, manipulative, and ill-tempered bigot, often portrayed as the series’ main antagonist. Cartman is often brilliant but with misguided motives.

Stan Marsh
One of South Park’s more sensible characters, he’s the everyman and the leader of the group, often portrayed as the series’ main protagonist, trading that role occasionally with Kyle.

Kyle Broflovski
One of few Jewish children in South Park. Kyle and Stan are the most intelligent members of the group, and often displays higher moral standards than his friends. He is also often portrayed as the series’ main protagonist, especially when it comes to stopping his “friend” Eric Cartman’s nefarious schemes.

Kenny McCormick
One of the original four main boys and resident of a poor household. Kenny is known for his muffled speech and his habit of dying in nearly every episode of South Park. His frequent deaths and poverty are however somewhat downplayed in later seasons.
Congrats to Matt Stone and Trey Parker to create the best cartoon ever! Watch episodes on South Park Studios.
